What is this?

Why should you fish with baitcasting for pike? The advantages with a baitcasting reel is that you can cast heavier lures because you hold your line with your thumb when casting and you don't need to use your index finger when casting, which over time can be a bit unfomfortable and hurt.

You hold your thumb on the spool when casting with a light pressure to control that the spool wont spin faster than the line which can cause tangles. It is also easier to break if you cast in wrong direction and might end up in a tree, by quickly pressing your thumb on the spool.

We have carefully put together this baitcasting fishingset for pike. In this set up you will have a rod from Abu Garcia. BEAST X is designed for (big) pike fishing. The rods are built on strong, powerful and reponsive 30T carbon + Nano Technology blanks – capable of casting big lures, setting the hook strongly and fighting the biggest of pikes. The high quality, light weight Fuji guides provide the perfect guiding of strong braided lines and the rods are finished with light weight ergonomic reel seats. 

Paried up with Abu Garcia® Revo Beast X LP Multi (vänstervev)   which is a Robust and powerful reel thanks to its aluminium chassis, this reel will also guarantee great comfort!

And together with PowerPro Sup 8 Slick V2 Moon Shine 135m , 0,32mm!
