As temperatures drop and the water grows colder, the behavior of perch changes. The fish often become more cautious and move more slowly, meaning it may take a little extra patience to entice a strike.

In this pack, we’ve gathered 5 of Team Galant’s favorites for autumn perch fishing! It’s a fantastic selection of lures that allows you to vary your approach and discover what works best on any given day.

Lures included in this pack:

• Flatnose Mini – A true perch favorite, featuring a lively paddle tail that creates excellent vibrations even during a slow retrieve.
• Twerkbait – An exciting option for when you want to vary your presentation and trigger cautious perch.
• Monkey Brute – A perfect addition to your tackle box for when you want to try a different profile and action.
• Baby Dragon – A highly effective lure for coaxing strikes when perch are being particularly finicky.
• Nettel Mini – A "sure thing" that you need to have in your tackle box when the water is cold!

Team Galant’s tips for perch fishing in cold water:

1. Fish slowly.
As the water cools, perch become less inclined to chase fast-moving prey. Try slowing down your retrieve significantly and letting the lure work close to the bottom.
2. Don’t be afraid to take long pauses.
Sometimes, the strike happens exactly when the lure is sitting still or just as it begins to move again. Try incorporating pauses of several seconds, and experiment with the duration until you find what works. 3. Look for perch in deeper water
During the autumn, perch often congregate around drop-offs, steep ledges, and areas where baitfish are present. If you find the baitfish, there’s a good chance the perch are nearby!
4. Small movements can make a big difference
You don’t always need to make sharp, aggressive jerks with your rod. Small, subtle movements—followed by longer pauses—might be exactly what’s needed to trigger a sluggish perch.
5. Vary your lures!
If the perch aren’t biting, try changing your lure, color, or fishing technique. Sometimes, even a minor adjustment is enough to turn a slow day on the water into a highly successful one.
